Usage:

β-Alanine is mainly used in the synthesis of pantothenic acid and calcium pantothenate, carnosine, pamidronate sodium, balsalazin, etc. It is widely used in medicine, feed, food and other fields. Also used for electroplating corrosion inhibitors and biochemical reagents.

β-Alanine is not used in the biosynthesis of any major proteins or enzymes. It is formed in vivo by the degradation of dihydrouracil andcarnosine. It is a component of the naturally occurring peptides carnosine and anserine and also of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), which itself is a component of coenzyme A. Under normal conditions, β-alanine is metabolized into acetic acidBeta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid. Non-essential amino acids can be made by the body, so they don't have to be provided by food. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins.

Beta-Alanine is safe for men and women of all ages. Anyone doing high-intensity exercise or endurance exercise could consider Beta-Alanine as part of a great pre-workout formula. If you're doing weight lifting, training for a sport, or any other type of endurance events Beta-Alanine is a great choice for you.
